The shape extending from the ridges on the left and right sides of the crown to the top of the rear stabilizer, achieved through advanced molding technology, characterizes the X-Fifteen's design and delivers high aerodynamic performance.
By creating a shape that strongly narrows the bottom of the helmet from the chin bar to the rear of the helmet, the aerodynamic effect has been greatly improved.
The rear stabilizer draws air into the tunnel-like space between the shell on either side and directs it towards the rear, controlling the direction of airflow and enhancing stability (patent pending).
Pressure analysis was used to determine the optimal placement of ventilation, resulting in a design that is more suited to use in a realistic racing position.
The air routes inside the helmet have grooves that are more than 1.5 times deeper than in previous models, and outlet holes have been added to the tunnel section of the rear stabilizer to achieve higher ventilation performance.
In the design review of the X-Fifteen and X-Fifteen 02, clay models were measured using a 3D scanner. Simulations of the pressure distribution during racing in a racing position were performed, confirming that the air intakes were positioned in the areas with the highest pressure due to the airflow.
The cheek vent system features approximately twice as many ventilation holes on the cheeks compared to previous models, making riding more comfortable even in harsh conditions.
Equipped with a center-lock CWR-F2R shield that enhances the seal between the shield and the window rubber (window beading) to prevent wind and rain from entering. The pins for the anti-fog sheet, which share the tear-off buttons, are positioned on the outside of the field of view, so that even when the anti-fog sheet is installed, the sheet covers almost the entire field of view, ensuring a wider and clearer view.

X-Fifteen and X-Fifteen 02 feature a two-stage shield lock system with a center lock and a racing shield lock to prevent accidental shield release during falls.
shield base now features a new trigger lock mechanism that secures the trigger lever used when attaching or detaching the shield, preventing the shield from falling off due to impact during a fall.
UPPER FIELD OF VISION
The X-Fifteen and X-Fifteen 02 have moved the eyeport position 5mm higher than the previous model. This ensures a wider upward field of view without changing the head position inside the helmet or compromising the balance of vertical visibility. Combined with the racing position of the cheek pads inherited from the previous model, this wider field of view has been highly praised by MotoGP riders and contributes to improved safety during races.

INTERIOR PARTS
Create the best fit with more detailed self-adjustment.
The split center pad has been further improved, offering a wider range of fit adjustments. Each pad is pocket-type, and optional adjustment pads can be used to partially fill gaps to fit the shape of the head, or to replace pads with different thicknesses. In addition, the outer layer of the front, back, left, and right pads is removable, allowing for partial loosening of the fit, enabling users to fine-tune the fit themselves.
The cheek pads feature a unique shape at the lower end that faces the helmet opening, which reduces lift while riding. Furthermore, the area that contacts the cheeks has been increased by 116% compared to the previous model, resulting in a secure hold that is less prone to movement even at high speeds.
The interior surface fabric uses a hybrid design, employing HYGRA, which has excellent water absorption and quick-drying properties, in areas prone to sweating, and a soft, brushed fabric in areas that are likely to rub against the skin when putting on or taking off the helmet.

The split center pad,
consisting of six sections—front, top, rear, sides (left and right), and neck—has been further improved, offering a wider range of fit adjustments.
The front, side, and rear sections have a peelable outer layer, allowing for partial loosening of the fit from the standard size.

READY FOR HYDRATION SYSTEM
Hydration systems are used in endurance races and long rides in harsh summer conditions. The X-Fifteen features a hydration system attachment mechanism near the mouth, allowing for easy use of a hydration system by combining it with an optional hydration tube and commercially available hydration accessories.

QUIETNESS
Quietness enhances concentration while riding and reduces strain.
Reducing noise and improving the quietness inside the helmet enhances concentration while riding and reduces rider fatigue. The center-lock CWR-F2R shield, which offers enhanced sealing, is equipped with vortex generators on both the left and right ends. The airflow rectifying effect, which directs air from the sides of the shield towards the rear, reduces noise generation on the sides of the shield.

Emergency Quick Release System
Emergency helmet removal system for use in the event of an accident.
In the event of an accident, removing a helmet from a rider can be far more difficult than one might imagine for a third party providing first aid. While impact absorption and comfort are essential, supporting emergency rescue operations in such situations is also a crucial function of a helmet. SHOEI's EQRS (Emergency Quick Release System) allows for easy helmet removal with a simple pull of a special ribbon, minimizing strain on the neck, which is prone to injury.
* Do not use EQRS when removing the cheek pads for maintenance or other purposes.
